As a student my self I don't see how people have a good time because we only have a 15 minute recess, then there is long 30 minute lunch, but it used to be 20 minute recess and 25 minute lunch but kids were saying they didn't have enough time to eat, but all they would do is talk, and that's why they don't have enough time to eat. Now let's talk about the dress code now some I see fitting but the no hoods at all is really stupid because nowadays most kits only have hooded sweat shirts or jackets, because most parents have to buy the harmony jackets, also most kids won't have a beanies because the could just use their sweat shirt hood. That's why I think this is a two star.
Traffic, time management very poor, also have a lady in the back of the elementary screaming at parents driving after having to go trough 15 mins of traffic. School only good if one parent stays home and doesn’t work per drop off and pick up drama.
Overall great school! Administrators, Teachers, & support staff actually take pride in what they do. No place is perfect yet when opportunities arise, they are addressed timely. I appreciate the level of trust and integrity. I recommend for parents who are looking for a well rounded environment for their child to safely learn and develop.
We absolutely love Harmony Science Academy Garland! My son has been attending since Kindergarten and is now in 2nd grade, as our only child we were so relieved to know he was and is in good hands! We have loved every single teacher he has had, they are so caring, sweet and really get to know their students and their families! We have had such a great experience with this school, teachers, principals and staff! We recommend this school to everyone we know both My sisters have registered their kiddos to these schools and a couple of my friends and all the kiddos love it! If you are in search for a good school that is dedicated and feels like family Harmony Science Academy Garland is the school! ❤️
Harmony Science Academy is a stellar place to work and learn! I've worked in two large school districts and they don't compare in terms of academics and talented teachers.
Students are encouraged to grow socially, and scholasticly while developing habits of strong character. Teachers are supported and encouraged to grow and learn in our own autonomous classrooms.
We have an excellent trio of administrators that work so well together; each bringing their own strengths and personalities to best serve our school.
I am happy here in this familial environment and blessed to be working here.
I have been working for Harmony Science Academy for a little over a month and the positive energy between students, teachers and parents is really something to be admired. Our kids are happy and they are receiving a top notch education!
My daughter attends kindergarten here. As she is my youngest, it is my first experience with a school system. Naturally, I was nervous due to fear of the unknown. However, my fears turned to excitement after only the first few months of school after I realized how caring the teachers and staff are and how much my daughter has learned and grown.
I highly recommend sending your kids here!! All of my children attend this school!! They have great staff and the communication with the teachers is awesome!!! They ensure your children get the best education possible. I love the principles as well you will always see them engaged, talking to parents, helping there staff with car pool and they always have a smile on there faces!
